Abstract
The growth of small inflammatory cells in different parts of the body is called sarcoidosis. It is a systemic granulomatous disease with undetermined aetiology and pathogenesis. Mediastinal and peripheral lymph nodes, lungs, spleen, skin, heart, and liver are most often involved. Females are more affected by this disease than men. This is a disease of unknown cause that lacks distinctive clinical features and so must be characterized by its morphological lesions and non-caseating granulomas in many tissues and organs. In this article, we discuss the cause, symptoms, and treatment of hepatic sarcoidosis.
Introduction
When sarcoidosis affects the liver it is known as hepatic sarcoidosis. It may also be moderately enlarged and may contain scattered lesions throughout its substance, in any region of the liver lobule. It is an autoimmune disorder that affects multiple organs and tissues.

Ayurvedic Aspect of Hepatic Sarcoidosis
In Ayurveda, hepatic sarcoidosis is correlated with tridosha involvement. These tridosha are Vata, Pitta and Kapha. Sarcoidosis usually affects the lymph nodes where Kapha energy resides. However, when the pitta energy begins to affect the lymph nodes, the kapha energy disappears and the lymph nodes lose their properties. This can cause the lymph nodes to harden. Also, when the kapha energy in the lung region is disrupted, the vata energy dehydrates it and causes fibrosis in the lungs.

Kanchnar guggul is a polyherbal tablet which is formulated by planet ayurveda by using Kachnar Bark (Bauhinia variegata), Amalaki(Emblica officinalis), Haritaki (Terminalia chebula), Bibhitaki (Terminalia bellerica), Ginger (Zingiber officinale), Black Pepper (Piper nigrum), Pippali (Piper longum) and some other herbs. This kanchnar acts as an anti-bacterial, anti-microbial and anti-ulcer. It is also an immunomodulator. In this, amla pacifies all three doshas- vata, pitta and kapha. It has a wide range of curative and corrective effects on the human body. In this, ginger is a diaphoretic. It brings heat into the body, stimulates the circulatory system and increases perspiration.

2. Boswellia Curcumin
