Causes of Prostate Enlargement

The actual cause of prostate enlargement is unknown. Factors linked to aging and changes in the cells of the testicles may have a role in the growth of the gland. The prostate grows larger due to an increase in the number of cells (hyperplasia)

Risk Factors

  1. Agin – Advancing age in men
  2. Family history – Any blood relative, like father or brother, suffering from prostate problems increases the risk.
  3. Diabetes and heart disease – Certain studies have shown that diabetes and heart disease as well and use of beta blockers, may increase the risk of BPH.
  4. Obesity – Another factor that increases the risk of BPH, while exercise can lower your risk.
  5. Ethnic background – Prostate enlargement is not much common in Asian men as compared to white and black men. Black men might experience symptoms at a younger age than white men.

  • Dribbling at the end of urination

  • Frequent or strong desire to urinate, especially at night

Aloe Vera:

How to consume

  • Extract fresh aloe vera gel and mix in one teaspoon of honey.
  • Consume it every day before having breakfast.
  • For best results follow this remedy for around three months.

Turmeric:

  • Boil one teaspoon of coriander seeds in two cups of water. Boil it until the water reduces to one cup.
  • Strain the coriander seeds from the liquid.

  • Soak fenugreek seeds overnight in water.

Carrot is good source of iron, thus an effective remedy for irregular menstrual periods. It has been found that raw carrots also help to boost up the hormonal function.

Make fresh carrot juice and drink it daily for three months.

Mint:
