WHAT IS TAMASIC ENVIRONMENT?

Let us first describe the word tamas, It is one of the guna. There are 3 gunas of mind (Satva, Rajas and Tamas). Here Tamas refers to ”Darkness”. Tamas guna can be triggered by a number of factors such as food, lifestyle, Tamasic Prakriti which indirectly leads to a Tamasic environment.

  • Tamasic foods such as Onion, Garlic, Curd, Non vegetarian food, Bread, Cakes etc which can harm the physical and mental health.

The basic cause is intellectual errors that are due to Rajas and Tamas Predominance, which results in jealousy, anger, laziness, Greed, Intake of tamasic food, Disposal of waste water in improper methods, Deforestation etc. These not only influence the lifestyle but also the health of an individual leading to the infectious diseases.

1. HEALTHY DIET

There are two main types of Fatigue

1. Physical Fatigue

The overall feeling of lack of energy and tiredness is termed as physical fatigue. When a person finds it hard to do the things they usually do in their daily activities like climbing stairs or walking.
