There Are 4 Stages Of Syphilis Are

1. Primary Syphilis

The primary stage of syphilis starts four weeks after a person catches the bacteria. In primary syphilis, a person gets one or more round, small sore known as Cancre. These cancre are usually small, painless but are very infectious. They happen on your anus, rectum, genitals, mouth, etc.

2. Secondary Syphilis

Sore throat and skin rashes may evolve during the secondary stage of Syphilis. Some symptoms of secondary Syphilis may include

3. Latent Syphilis

Causes

Treponema pallidum is the bacteria that caused Syphilis. Sexual intercourse with an infected person is also the most common cause of syphilis. Less commonly syphilis may spread through infected mothers to their babies during childbirth or pregnancy.

Syphilis can’t be spread by using the same bathtub, eating utensils, clothing, toilet, hot tubs, or swimming pools.
